Without prejudice to any more severe penalty prescribed by this Decree by Law or any other law: 1. Any person who violates any provision of Articles (13), (15), (25), (33), (35), (37) Clause (2), or (39) of this Decree by Law shall be punished by imprisonment for a period not exceeding one year and a fine of not less than (AED 50,000) fifty thousand dirhams and not exceeding (AED 200,000) two hundred thousand dirhams, or by either of these penalties. 2. Any person who violates any provision of Articles (21), (26), (28), (36), (37) Clause (1), (38), and (40) Paragraph (2) of this Decree by Law shall be punished by a fine of not less than (AED 50,000) fifty thousand dirhams and not exceeding (AED 200,000) two hundred thousand dirhams. 3. If the offender intended, by committing any violation referred to in Clauses (1) and (2) of this Article, to commit or conceal another crime provided for in this Decree by Law, they shall be punished with the penalty applicable to the more serious crime.
