1. Addicting in any way or personal using of narcotic substances as stipulated in item (29) of Schedule No. 1 shall be punished by imprisonment for a period of no less than three months or a fine of no less than ten thousand dirhams and not more than one hundred thousand dirhams or any of the plants mentioned in Clause 8 of Section Two of Schedule No. (4). 2. If the Offender commits any of the acts stipulated in the previous Clause for the second time within a period not more than three years as of the date of committing the act or once, the penalty shall be imprisonment for a period of no less than six months or a fine of no less than twenty thousand dirhams and not more than one hundred thousand dirhams. 3. If the Offender commits any of these acts stipulated in Clause (1) of this Article for the third time or more, the penalty shall be imprisonment for a period of no less than six months and a fine of no less than fifty thousand dirhams and no more than two hundred dirhams.
