01
Bahrain is an international financial center
Central Bank of Bahrain licenses conventional and Islamic retail and wholesale banks. The presence of an institution in the register confirms its licensing status, but does not guarantee its readiness to open an account for a specific structure, industry or payment corridor.
02
Banks with which the profile is compared
National Bank of Bahrain, Bank of Bahrain and Kuwait and Al Salam Bank - product is verified on the date of application.
Bahrain Islamic Bank, Kuwait Finance House Bahrain and other institutions from the CBB directory.
HSBC, Standard Chartered, Citibank and other licensed presences - not everyone serves local SME retail.
Operate within the wholesale license and target segments; are not an automatic alternative to a regular current account.
Legal name, branch, retail/wholesale category and eligible services are verified against the CBB Licensing Directory prior to submission.
