Section Five: General and Final Provisions

1. The purity degree of narcotics or psychotropic substances subject of the crime shall not be considered in determining their weight when their presence is proven according to the criminal evidence report, and the components and impurities mixed with them shall be considered an integral part of the total weight thereof. 2. In instances where the narcotic substance assumes a pharmaceutical form, the determination of its weight shall be based on the percentage specified on the manufacturer's packaging, which has been duly approved within the State.
