Whoever has been sentenced to life or temporary imprisonment in one of the crimes stipulated hereby shall be placed under Police surveillance after the expiration of his sentence in accordance with the rules determined by the President of the Authority for a period equal to the period of the penalty, provided that it does not exceed five years. Nevertheless, the Court may, in its judgment, reduce the probation period, order the release of the Convict from it, or ease restrictions thereof. The Convicted person who violates the conditions of supervision shall be liable to imprisonment for a period not more than one year and a fine not more than five thousand dirhams, or one of these two penalties.
