If the Offender commits any of the crimes referred to in Article (48) of this Law by Decree with the intent of harming the one who committed the crime before him, and that results in injury or illness, the Offender shall be punished with imprisonment for a period of no less than seven years and a fine of no less than one hundred thousand dirhams. If the injury or illness results in serious harm, the penalty shall be imprisonment for a period of no less than ten years and a fine of no less than two hundred thousand dirhams. The penalty shall be life imprisonment or the death penalty if the crime results in the death of the victim.
