Life imprisonment shall be imposed on anyone who, during peace time, commits any of the following acts: 1. Seeking to collaborate with a foreign country, or anyone who works for its benefit or communicating with anyone of them, in order to prejudice the State's military, political or economic position. 2. Deliberate destruction, concealing, embezzlement, or forgery of papers or documents, knowing that they are related to the security of the State or any other national interest. 3. Seeking to recruit or recruiting persons for the benefit of a foreign country or a group that is hostile or aims to prejudice the security of the State, or to any of the persons working for its benefit. The penalty shall be death if the crime occurs during war time or for the purpose of causing damage to the State's military, political or economic position, or for the purpose of causing damage to its national interest, or if the crime is committed by a public servant or by a person entrusted with a public service.
