1. Shipping of the item sold by the seller shall be proved by means of a bill of lading where the word "shipment" is mentioned. However, if the bill of lading states "under shipment fee", the buyer may prove the shipping has not actually been taken place on the date mentioned in the bill. 2. Where the bill of lading contains a handwritten statement signed by the captain of the vessel, certifying that the goods were actually shipped on the specified date, the buyer in such a case may not prove the contrary vis-à-vis the seller.
