1. A void contract is a contract that is unlawful in its essence and attributes, due to the defect of any of its elements, its subject matter, its cause, or the form imposed by law for its conclusion. Such a contract shall not produce any effect and shall not be subject to ratification. 2. Any interested party may assert the nullity, and the court may declare it of its own motion. 3. A claim of nullity shall not be heard after the lapse of fifteen (15) years from the date of conclusion of the contract.
