Article 1194

1. The fruits of the property shall belong to the purchaser until the time the property is taken from them by pre-emption. 2. If the purchaser has leased the property to a third party and the lessee has paid the rent, the pre-emptor shall not be entitled to rescind the lease if the lease term is less than one year. The rent shall belong to the purchaser until the time the property is taken from them by pre-emption. 3. If the lease term exceeds one year after the exercise of pre-emption, or the lessee has not paid the rent, the pre-emptor may rescind or affirm the lease, and the rent shall belong to them after taking the property by pre-emption.
