1. Any person appointed as an executor may refuse to assume this task or may resign therefrom after assuming it, in accordance with the provisions of agency. 2. The court may, upon the request of any of the concerned parties or the Public Prosecution, or of its own motion, remove the executor and appoint another if there is cause justifying such removal.
