1. An owner may not stipulate in their disposition, whether contract or will, conditions that restrict the rights of the transferee, unless such conditions are lawful, intended to protect a legitimate interest of the transferor, the transferee, or a third party, and for a limited period. 2. Any condition that prevents the transferee from making a disposition shall be void, unless the provisions of Paragraph (1) of this Article are met.
