Article 50 — Article (50) Correction of Material Errors in Awards

Chapter Five: Arbitral Award

1. The Arbitral Tribunal shall correct any purely material errors in its award, whether typographical or in computation, by a decision on its own initiative or at the request of a party, after notifying the other parties. The request shall be submitted within the thirty (30) days following the receipt of the award, unless the other parties agree on other procedures or periods. The Arbitral Tribunal shall make the correction of the award within (30) thirty days following the making of the award or the submission of the request for correction, as the case may be. It may, if it deems necessary, extend such period for further (15) fifteen days. 2. The decision regarding the correction shall be issued in writing and shall be notified to the parties within fifteen (15) days from the date of its issuance. 3. The decision issued on the correction of the award shall be deemed complementary to the arbitral award and subject to rules applicable thereto.
