1. The Public Prosecution and the competent court, as the case may be, may order, without prior notice, the identification, tracing, valuation, seizure, or freezing of Criminal Funds or Property, or Funds of equivalent value, the prohibition of their management, and the imposition of travel bans until the conclusion of the investigation or trial. 2. Where necessary, the Public Prosecution and the competent court, as the case may be, may order travel bans and take decisions preventing dealings in or disposition of Criminal Funds or property or funds of equivalent value, and take the necessary measures to prevent any disposition intended to evade seizure, freezing, or confiscation orders, without prejudice to the rights of bona fide third parties. 3. Without prejudice to the rights of bona fide third parties, any contract or disposition entered into with the accused shall be null and void by operation of law where the parties thereto, or any of them, knew, or ought to have known, that its purpose was to affect the ability of competent authorities to seize, freeze, recover, or confiscate, or to enforce such measures. 4. For the purposes of Clause (3) of this Article, knowledge of the contracting parties with the accused shall be inferred from the factual and objective circumstances surrounding the conclusion of the contract or disposition.
