1. The husband shall document the divorce before the competent court within a maximum period of (15) fifteen days from the date of its occurrence, and this does not prejudice the wife’s right to file a case to prove the divorce. 2. If the husband does not document the divorce within the period specified in Clause (1) of this Article, without an excuse acceptable to the court, the wife shall be entitled to a compensation equivalent to the alimony from the date of the divorce to the date of its documentation.
