1. The inheriting grandfather is any grandfather who is not related to the deceased by a female. 2. The grandfather inherits in the absence of the father, and the great-grandfather is dropped in the presence of a closer inheriting grandfather. 3. The grandfather’s inheritance is the same as the father’s inheritance. If the heirs are limited to one of the spouses, a mother, and a grandfather, the grandfather inherits the remainder agnatically after one of the spouses receives his/her share and the mother receives “her third” of the entire Estate.
