1. A guardian’s power of guardianship over the person may be revoked, in whole or in part, permanently or temporarily, if the person under guardianship becomes exposed to serious danger to his/her safety, health, honour, morals, or education due to the guardian’s mistreatment of him/her, or setting a bad example as a result of the guardian’s reputation for bad conduct or addiction to intoxicants, drugs, or psychotropic substances, or due to lack of care. In this case, it is not required that a judgment be issued punishing the guardian for any of the same. 2. Instead of revoking guardianship, the court may entrust the minor to one of the specialized institutions while the guardian’s guardianship continues.
