1. In the event of the Worker's death, the Employer shall hand over to the worker's family any wages or financial entitlements to the Worker in addition to the end-of-service gratuity to which the worker is entitled in accordance with the provisions of this Decree by law and its Executive Regulation, within a period not exceeding ten (10) days as of the date of death or as of the date of the Employer's knowledge of the Worker's death. 2. Subject to the provisions of Clause (1) of this Article, the Worker may specify in writing a family member to receive his rights in the event of his death. 3. The employer shall bear all costs incurred in preparing and transporting the body of the deceased Worker to his country of origin or place of residence if his relatives so request. 4. The Ministry may, in coordination with the Concerned Authorities, may establish a mechanism to retain the Worker's entitlements in the event of his death if it is not possible to hand them over to his family or those entitled thereto.
