1. Judgments imposing custodial sentences shall be enforced at the designated penal institutions based on an order of the Public Prosecution. 2. Notwithstanding any provision set forth in this law or in any other law, the penal institutions law or any legislative instrument enacted by the emirate concerned within the scope of its authority may order that the convict undergoing a custodial sentence or the convict sentenced to physical coercion perform penal labor within or outside the penal institutions during the punishment enforcement term. 3. Under any circumstances, the penal labor order shall be issued by the Public Prosecution according to the conditions and controls set forth in the relevant law or legislative instrument, as the case may be.
