A penalty of temporary imprisonment for a period not exceeding (10) ten years shall be imposed on anyone who, by ways of coercion, trick or threat, instigates any male or female to commit debauchery or prostitution. The penalty shall be temporary imprisonment for a period not less than (10) ten years if the victim is under (18) eighteen years of age. Furthermore, the aforementioned penalties shall be imposed, as the case may be, on anyone who, by ways of coercion, trick or threat, retains any person against his will, in a place with the intention to compel him to commit one or several acts of debauchery or prostitution.
