A penalty of temporary imprisonment for a period not exceeding (5) five years, shall be imposed on any person who, directly or indirectly, a public servant, a person entrusted with a public service, a foreign public servant or an employee of an international organisation, an unentitled gift, benefit or grant, whether in favour of the employee himself or for another person or entity, in return for performing or omitting an act included in his job duties in violation thereof.
