The penalty mentioned in the preceding Article shall be imposed on whoever brings in or takes out of the State, personally or through intermediary, a currency or security from amongst those mentioned in the preceding Article, whenever they are counterfeit or forged; and on whoever puts anything of the like into circulation or deals with it or possesses if for the purpose of putting it into circulation or dealing therewith, while he is fully aware of the counterfeiting, falsification or forgery.
