1. If the court hands down a convicting judgment in one of the crimes stipulated in Articles (674) through (676) of this Law, it may order the publication of a summary of such judgment at the expense of the convict in two widely circulated daily newspapers published in the State, one in Arabic and the other in English, or in two electronic means of publication to be specified by a decision of the Minister of Justice, one of which shall be in Arabic and the other in English, provided that the publication shall in all cases include the name of the convict, their place of residence, their profession and the sentence imposed on them. 2. Such publication shall be obligatory in the event of recidivism, and in the event of a conviction for the crimes stipulated in Article (676) of this Law.
