1. A cheque payable to a named person, whether or not it expressly states 'to order', is negotiable by endorsement, including to the drawer or another obligor, who may re-endorse it. 2. A cheque payable to a named person and marked 'not to order' or with an equivalent expression may be transferred only under the rules on assignment of rights. 3. A cheque payable to bearer is negotiated by delivery.
