1. A bill may be drawn in several identical parts. Each part shall state the total number and its serial number; otherwise each part is treated as a separate bill. 2. A holder of a bill not stating that it was drawn as a single part may request parts at the holder's expense, proceeding through the endorser and preceding endorsers up to the drawer. 3. Each endorser shall reproduce the endorsement on the new parts.
