1. The consignor shall deliver to the carrier the item to be carried and the documents necessary for the performance of the carriage. The consignor shall be held liable where such documents are insufficient or untrue. Meanwhile, the carrier shall be liable for the loss or misuse of such documents. 2. Where the carriage requires special preparations, the consignor shall so notify the carrier within sufficient time prior to the delivery of the item to be carried. 3. Delivery shall take place at the place of business of the carrier, unless otherwise agreed upon.
