1. The trader shall keep commercial books, in hard or electronic form, in a manner that accurately reflects his financial position and his rights and obligations related to his trade. 2. A trader practising physical trade shall keep the following two books: a. Journal. b. General ledger. 3. A trader practising virtual trade shall: a. Enter the data of electronic commercial books by computer or other modern technological device. b. Comply with decisions issued by the Minister of Economy defining the controls and standards for such data and electronic books. 4. The trader shall be responsible for the accuracy of accounting data recorded in the commercial books and for its actual conformity with documents and information retained in paper files and with the establishment's financial statements. 5. In all cases, the prescribed accounting standards and accounting-entry rules shall apply to commercial books.
