1. A guarantor who has been presented in the case of loss of the storage receipt shall be discharged of liability upon recovery of the goods or upon the lapse of (3) three years if no claim for the recovery of the goods is submitted to the warehouse. 2. A guarantor who has been presented in the case of loss of the pledge deed shall be discharged of liability upon the lapse of (3) three years from the date of registering the endorsement in the books of the public warehouse.
