1. The warehouseman shall be responsible for the goods handed over to him up to a sum not exceeding that estimated by the bailer. 2. The warehouseman shall not be held accountable for any loss or deficit sustained by the goods if such loss or deficit caused by a force majeure event or by the nature of the goods or packing thereof.
