1. Possession shall be transferred to a universal successor with its legal attributes; however, if the predecessor was in bad faith and the successor proves that they were in good faith in their possession thereof, they may rely on their good faith. 2. A particular successor may add their possession to that of their predecessor in respect of all effects that the law attributes to possession.
