Non-domesticated animals are deemed unowned so long as they are at large. Nevertheless: 1. If such an animal has been captured and then returns to being at large, it shall not be deemed unowned unless its owner does not immediately pursue it or abandons such pursuit. 2. An animal that has been tamed and is accustomed to returning to its designated place shall, if it loses this habit, become unowned as long as it is at large, and its owner has ceased to pursue it.
