The list covers Al Seeb; Thumrait; Khasab, Dibba, Bukha and Madha; Al Buraimi, Mahdah and Al Sunaynah; Bahla, Al Hamra and Izki; Sohar, Saham, Al Khaburah, Al Suwaiq, Shinas and Liwa; Al Rustaq, Nakhal and Barka; Ibra, Sinaw and the Samad Al Shan administrative area; and Ibri, Yanqul and Dhank. The status continues until the reason for quarantine ceases and a decision to that effect is issued.
Limitations and exclusions
Does not declare all of Oman or every affected governorate in full to be under quarantine and is not a standalone general ban on moving or trading every agricultural product. Specific phytosanitary measures derive from Agricultural Quarantine Law 47/2004, Executive Regulation 32/2006, Decision 31/2009 as amended here and later instruments.
