Scope and exclusions
Applies to
Applies to legal persons wishing to represent one or more insurers within authorised agency activity. Existing participants received a six-month general regularisation period and a separate three-year Omanisation period, subject to possible extension.
Limitations and exclusions
An agency licence is not a broker, insurer or takaful-operator licence and does not independently authorise underwriting or claims decisions beyond contractual and statutory authority.
