Commercial Companies Law — Article 234

Part Four · Limited Liability Company · Chapter One · General Provisions

A limited liability company shall consist of natural or juristic persons whose number shall not be less than two (2) and not more than fifty (50) persons, and their liability for the company’s debts shall be limited to the value of their shares in the share capital. The share capital of the company shall be divided into shares of equal value and fully paid on registration. The number of the shareholders in some of the companies may be increased above the maximum number referred to in the preceding paragraph by a decision of the Minister, pursuant to the public interest, and for considerations taken into account by him/her. The companies established by the State alone shall be exempt from the provision of this Article.
