The waiting period for a nonpregnant divorcée is as follows: 1. (3) Three periods of purity for menstruating women. 2. (3) Three lunar months for a post-menopausal woman, and (3) three lunar months for a woman who originally never menstruated. However, if she sees menstruation before the end of this time, the woman shall begin her waiting period as of purity.
