Testimony evidence shall not be allowed even if the value does not exceed (AED 50,000) fifty thousand dirhams or the equivalent in the following cases: 1.If the law stipulates that it shall be in writing in order to be legally valid or to be proved; 2.If the claimed amount is the remaining amount or part of a right that may only be established in writing; 3.If it contradicts or exceeds what is included in a written electronic or paper proof; and 4.If a litigant claims an amount that exceeds (AED 50,000) fifty thousand dirham, then he amends his claim to an amount not exceeding such value.
