Article 30 — Article (30) Enforcement Writ

A. A compulsory enforcement shall only be permissible under an Enforcement Writ as defined in this Law and the Rules of the Courts. B. “Enforcement Writ” shall include the following: 1. Judgements, Decisions or Orders issued by the DIFC Courts; 2. Arbitral Awards ratified by the DIFC Courts; 3. Documents certified in accordance with this Law; 4. Signed settlement agreements that are approved by the DIFC Courts Mediation Centre; 5. Settlement agreements ratified by the DIFC Courts in the course of the proceedings; and 6. Other documents to which any applicable Law grants an enforcement status. C. Enforcement Writs shall be worded in the format prescribed by the Rules of the Courts. D. All authorities and competent entities in the Emirate shall proceed with the enforcement of the Writ, by force if so required.
