1. In case of a crime caught in Flagrante Delicto, the Judicial Police Officer shall forthwith move to the crime scene, examine and retain the physical evidence of the crime, document the existing state of places and persons and anything else that may lead to revealing the truth, and take the statements of those present or those who might give some explanations as concerns the incident and the perpetrator thereof. He shall immediately inform the Public Prosecution of his move. 2. The Public Prosecution shall, once notified of a crime in Flagrante Delicto, move immediately to the crime scene.
