A penalty of imprisonment for a period not less than one year and a fine not less than (50,000) fifty thousand AED shall be imposed on whoever deliberately disrupts, in any manner, a device, machine, or other things which are designated for first aid, firefighting, rescue of drowned persons or prevention of other accidents. The penalty shall be temporary imprisonment if the crime results in a disaster. In all cases, the perpetrator shall be ordered by a judgment to pay the value of the damages caused thereby.
