A penalty of temporary imprisonment for a period not exceeding (5) five years shall be imposed on any physician or midwife requesting or accepting, for themselves or for other 0persons, a gift or privilege of any kind or a promise of anything of the like, in return for delivering false testimony concerning pregnancy, giving birth, disease, physical disability or death, or if they give such testimony due to an urgent request, recommendation or intermediation. In such a case, the provision of the second paragraph of Article (302) of this Law shall apply.
