If one of the acts stipulated in Articles (169) and (172) of this Chapter is caused by negligence or dereliction, the penalty shall be imprisonment for a period not less than (3) three years and not exceeding (5) five years and a fine not less than (100,000) one hundred thousand AED and not exceeding the value of damages caused to the funds or interests of the State as a result of such negligence or dereliction.
