1. The drawer or holder may cross a cheque, with the effects set out in Article 660. 2. Crossing is made by two parallel lines on the face. 3. It may be general or special. 4. It is general if nothing, 'bank' or an equivalent word appears between the lines, and special if a particular bank is named. 5. General crossing may be converted to special crossing, but not vice versa. 6. Deletion of the crossing or bank name is disregarded.
