1. Where the drawer stipulates on the bill of exchange for a place for payment, other than the drawee's place of residence, without naming the person to whom payment is to be made, the drawee may designate the name when signifying his acceptance. If he fails to do so upon acceptance, the accepting drawee shall be bound to make the payment at the place designated therefor. 2. Where the bill of exchange is due for payment at the drawee's place of residence, he may specify in the acceptance wording an address at the place where the payment shall be made.
