An instrument which does not contain any of the particulars mentioned in Article (515) hereof shall be deemed a bill of exchange only in the following cases: 1. Where the date of maturity is not mentioned in the bill, it shall be deemed payable at sight. 2. Where the place of payment of the bill is not stated therein, the place indicated next to the drawee's name shall be deemed the place of payment and the drawee's place of residence at the same time. In this case, the bill shall be payable at the drawee's place of residence if there is no condition for payment in another place. 3. Where the place of drawing up the bill is not stated therein, the bill shall be deemed as having been drawn up in the place mentioned next to the drawer's name, and where such place is not expressly stated, the place of drawing up the bill shall be deemed the place where the drawer has signed the same.
