Article 472 — Article (472)

Book Three: Banking Transactions · Part Six: Commercial Transactions of Islamic Financial Institutions · Chapter One: General Provisions: Article (468)

The following transactions, whenever carried out by an Islamic financial institution, shall constitute commercial transactions governed by the Rules of Islamic Sharia: 1. Deposit; 2. Investment account; 3. Takaful insurance; 4. Islamic financing instruments; 5. Investments; and 6. Any transaction where any statute in force provides that it is governed by the Rules of Islamic Sharia.
