1. Lending against securities is a loan secured by a pledge. 2. If the securities are registered instruments, their pledge shall be evidenced in writing by an assignment stating that it is made as security, noted on the instrument itself and recorded in the issuer's registers. Bearer securities are treated as tangible movable property and their pledge may be proved by all means of evidence.
