1. The bank shall be liable for fault or omission in the execution of its power of attorney. 2. The bank may require its relief from liability for delay in drawing up the protest. Such requirement shall be effective between the customer and the bank, unless an act of fraud or gross fault is attributed to the bank; however, such requirement shall not apply to other endorsers.
