Where the bank pays the value of the commercial paper accepted thereby, it shall enter its value and the expenses in the debit side of the customer's account, and shall have recourse against the customer for the sums paid by virtue of the letter of credit opened in favor of the customer and used as a consideration for the payment of the commercial paper which it had undertaken to accept.
