1. Where the passenger decides against travelling before its commencement, he shall notify the carrier of his decision before the date set for execution of the carriage. In case of extreme necessity, such notification may be served on the same day. 2. Where the notice is served according to Clause (1) of this Article, the carrier's fare shall not be payable. However, the carrier may claim compensation for the damage sustained by it due to the fact that the passenger has refrained from the carriage.
