Book Two: Commercial Obligations and Contracts · Part Seven: Brokerage

1. A broker shall not be required to guarantee the solvency of the two parties to the transaction in which he acts as a broker and shall bear no liability for its implementation or for the value and quality of the goods related thereto, unless an act of fraud or fault is established on his part, or where he acts as a guarantor under the agreement or Law. 2. The broker shall be jointly liable for the implementation of the transaction with the contracting party if he has an interest therein in addition to his fee.
